Fun night at the Nutcracker

Tonight was so fun going with a couple of my branch friends to go see the nutcracker, had not seen it for a while but it was so much fun, I enjoyed it.

Kyle gets heart attacked on his birthday

Misty (Kyle's girlfriend) had come over when Kyle wasn't home and decorated his room for him on his birthday, she put hearts all over and give him a poster or some sort of thing with pictures of when he was little and football and other pictures, It was cool. I have a picture of it.

Kyle was having a blast and getting competitive with his friend Michael, they would just go after each other and see who could get the most strikes or points, It was hilarious!!!

Here we all are after doing two games of bowling... such a fun night the guy in the picture next to Kyle is his friend Michael McCauley who spent thanksgiving with us since his parents were out of town and he had a football game and so it was fun. Kyle receives his Eagle

We are all so proud of Kyle for receiving his eagle, it took two long years to complete, his project included a park and so finally he's done. I thought when he was up there receiving his eagle that it looked like he was dying, He was I think just wanting to sit down. But anyways were happy for him.

Ok so as you can tell I was not expecting this!!! That is why my face is like: "Oh great. Kyle is now a Eagle scout.

Coronado vs. Monterrey

Coronado ended up losing their last game of the season against Monterrey High (their rival) and so Kyle was pretty much upset and tearing up a little and he was also feeling bad that they lost for the seniors, All I can say though is that the Refs were terrible!!! Most of the calls should have been for the other team, They were bad and played dirty. Coronado never really got a break. Football in Texas is so big here and to most people it is not just a football game. Kyle did well though and was trying his hardest.

Coronado had a tailgate party before the game against Monterrey started and everyone was pretty stoked and so here we are before the game. Misty (Kyle's girlfriend) goes to Monterrey but she supports Coronado and goes to all of Kyle's games with us. We will miss her next year since she will be graduating this year. And as you can tell from the picture it was cold it got down to the thirty's last night, COLD!!!

I will post some pictures later tonight or tomorrow of Kyle's BIG Night of receiving his eagle. It was so awesome and Kyle did awesome, I'm so proud of my little bro. He will be a great father and husband someday, I love you Kyleman!!!

Coronado vs. San Angelo

Coronado band was all dressed up for Halloween and played some halloween music like the Adams Family song.

Kyle talking with some of his buddies on the team. Coronado won San Angelo 62-24 although he was a little bummed not getting any picks, nothing was coming his way last night and he was hoping to get a interception since to get the school record for the most interceptions he only has to get three more and so maybe next week when they play their rival school "Monterrey High".

Kyle's double date night

Kyle and his friend Michael Adams had a double date night with Misty and Misty's friend Stephanie and they all carved pumpkins and made cookies along with watching a movie and so it was a fun night for all of them. Here they are with the pumpkins they had carved.

Some of my branch friends and I went on a camping trip last night and got back this afternoon and believe it or not in Texas where we were at there was somewhat mountains, I was surprised.

Branch video skit night

my branch is doing a video about the single's branch and so here some of my friends and I are taking a picture after our skit we were doing, it was fun even though I should say the lines I was saying was not my personality but I guess that's acting right?

Coronado vs. Tascosa

Kyle is #9 in this picture and in this game he made another interception and ran it came for Coronado trying to make a touchdown, As long as Coronado wins Kyle is always happy after the game.

Coronado played Tascosa High and creamed them, the score ended up being 52-24, It was a little scary 1st quarter because both teams were scoring and making touchdowns back and forth but Coronado beat them. Here's Coronado's band playing a song at halftime for entertainment, I thought the different kinds of flags in the background were cool, It was awesome.

Coronado vs. Midland High

Here's Kyle preventing a touchdown from happening when Coronado played Midland High who they almost beat and were predicted that they would not win and well they didn't but they didn't get creamed eithier the score ended up being 30-35, It was a intense but really good game. One of the other guys for Midland High ran 90-yards or something like that for a touchdown and past where Kyle was and so in this picture he was not going to let it happen again.

When Coronado comes out at second half this is what you'd usually see the team doing, saying a quick prayer before it starts, It's awesome.

Temple Day

A couple of my branch friends and I taking a picture outside after doing a session with Kayla, what a special day it was for her.

My friend Kayla had received her mission call to the Washington Seattle mission and so yesterday she went to the temple to receive her endowments, It was awesome.

Dedication to Frenship Mesa Park-Kyle's eagle project

Kyle's project consisted of the bricks that are laid down as you go to into the park and then where the flower bed is right in front there and some other things, It took quite a while but he finished it and we are so proud of him.

Here's Kyle's name of what he did when he worked on his eagle project along with some other scouts names, I am so proud of him for getting his eagle! I will post more pictures when we have his ceremony for his eagle project in November.

Grandma Herrick visits Lubbock

Here's my mom and my grandma Herrick taking a break for me to take a picture, my grandma Herrick I could tell was nervous about this game but had fun being there for it.

The football game was against Lubbock High that Coronado has not lost too in 21 years and so 1st half was a little scary since Lubbock High was ahead but Coronado picked it up 2nd half and won Lubbock 20-9 and so it was a awesome game, intense but fun.
